Visits and Timeline

After placement, adjustments come every 4 to 6 weeks. Each visit is a chance to update the wire, check hygiene, and answer questions. Retainers follow at the end of treatment.

Living With Braces

Brush carefully around each bracket and use an interproximal brush under the wire. Avoid hard candy, nuts, and other foods that can snap a bracket. If one breaks, call us. We usually fix it at your next visit, or we schedule a repair if it is bothering you.

Metal braces cost $3,500 to $5,500 at Bloom, with the exact fee set after an exam. Your first visit is complimentary and includes X-rays, records, and a treatment simulation. Insurance benefits are checked before treatment, and payment plans are available.
